The bathroom has just been fully rebuilt — freestanding bath, dual showers, matte black tapware, a marble feature wall, and heated floors underfoot — plus a second toilet and an updated laundry that's perfect for washing and drying trail and riding gear. The open living area has two large couches and is kept warm in winter by an oversized heat pump plus a wood fireplace, with firewood supplied. Step outside to the balcony and you're looking straight into forest and mountain views. Full kitchen stocked with coffee, oats, and breakfast basics to get your first morning started. The Breville Barista Express grinds fresh beans to order — proper espresso, not pods — plus a BBQ and digital Sony TV for the evenings. The secure, oversized garage is the largest bike storage in Maydena — built for bikes, tools, vans, and trailers, just a few steps from the front door. It's fully powered, so plug in your eBike overnight and wake up with a full battery ready for the trails. There's a dedicated bike wash station at the front of the house for rinsing off after a muddy day. Your gear is clean, safe, dry, and ready for tomorrow. Fast Starlink (100 Mbps) keeps you genuinely connected. Upload footage, stream your evening, or work a full day from the dedicated workspace without compromise. Five-minute walk to Maydena Bike Park. Guest access The whole home is yours — all three bedrooms, living area, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, balcony, and the secure bike garage. Self check-in via keypad. Instructions arrive 24 hours before you do. We're always available via message. Other things to note The living area is heated by an oversized heat pump plus a wood fireplace in winter (firewood supplied). The heated bathroom floor runs off a thermostat on the wall as you enter — set it and forget it. A cot and high chair are available if you're travelling with little ones — just let us know ahead of arrival so we have them set up. Bins go out Friday night (Derwent Valley Council). Maydena is a small town: the general store covers the basics, but for a full shop stock up in New Norfolk or Hobart on the way in.
